SC Johnson to acquire Deb Group

SC JOHNSON has recently signed a binding offer to purchase UK-based Deb Group. The deal, which is expected to be finalized in the coming months, is part of the company’s strategy to expand its market in the industrial and institutional segments. 

 

Deb Group has been supplying hygiene and skin care systems for the industrial, commercial, healthcare, and food markets for more than 70 years. Its products, which comprise skin care regimens such as heavy-duty hand cleaners, foaming hand soaps, antibacterial washes, hand sanitizers, and restorative hand creams for all types of workplace and public settings, are currently used in more than 100 countries worldwide. 

 

“Deb is an important platform for SC Johnson and helps expand our presence in industrial and institutional markets,” said Fisk Johnson, chairman and CEO of SC Johnson. 

 

“Deb’s market leadership, channel strengths and commitment to innovation complement our own strengths,” Mr. Johnson further stated. 

 

The deal will be subject to the completion of any consultations and regulatory approvals.
