Schaeffler intensifies cooperation with HUST

The Schaeffler Group and the Henan University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China have intensified their cooperation with the signing of an initial contract about joint development projects. A delegation from the university lead by Professor Dr. Zhili Zhou, vice president of the HUST visited Herzogenaurach and Schweinfurt in order to familiarise themselves with the company's central locations. Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler, owner of the Schaeffler Group, welcomed the guests in Herzogenaurach. Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler emphasised the great importance that the Schaeffler Group has placed on the innovative force of the company since its origins. It goes without saying that the Schaeffler Group will now expand its R&D work to meet the requirements of the global market. "We want to participate in the continuous economic and technical progress in China on the basis of this self-image", said Mrs. Schaeffler.
