Scott Chorna joins Johnny Rockets

Restaurant franchisor, Johnny Rockets, which has over 300 stores worldwide, has appointed Scott Chorna as senior vice president of International Development. In his previous position, Mr Chorna served as director of International New Business for FOCUS Brands, a multi-brand fast food franchisor with over 3,800 units globally.  He officially joined the Johnny Rockets senior leadership team on 11 November 2013.

At FOCUS Brands, Mr Chorna established over 25 new international markets for high-profile brands such as Cinnabon, Carvel Ice Cream, Schlotzsky's, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Auntie Annie's Pretzels. He has also worked for ABSOLUT VODKA, Subway, Baskin-Robbins, and Dunkin' Donuts and has lived in Taipei, Beijing, and Hong Kong, and speaks fluent Mandarin.

Mr Chorna acquired his Bachelors of Arts degree in East Asian History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.  After many years of living abroad, he is happy to be back in Pacific Palisades, California with his wife and two children, where he visits Johnny Rockets, Santa Monica whenever the urge for an Original with American Fries and any one of their 30 hand-spun shake flavours.
