Senior management changes at SABMiller

Beer giant SABMiller announced a number of directorate and senior management changes that will all become effective from the date of this year’s annual general meeting on 26 July 2012.

Meyer Kahn will retire as chairman after 46 years of service with the Group.

Group managing director and chief executive Graham Mackay will become executive chairman, and continuing in these roles for one year, before becoming non-executive chairman at the annual general meeting in 2013.

Alan Clark (at right), currently managing director of SABMiller Europe, will be chief operating officer and an executive director of theGroup, and is in line to succeed Mr Mackay as chief executive at the annual general meeting in 2013.

John Manser, currently the senior independent non-executive director and chairman of the Audit Committee, will in addition become deputy chairman of the board.

Sue Clark, currently the Group’s director of Corporate Affairs, will succeed Alan as managing director of SABMiller Europe. Her successor will be announced in due course.
