Senior vice president Stephen Rolfs takes the helm from Dick Hobbs who retires in February 2015

GLOBAL manufacturer and marketer of colours, flavours and fragrances, Sensient Technologies Corporation has announced the retirement of senior vice president and CFO, Dick Hobbs in February 2015. He will be succeeded by Stephen Rolfs, who is currently senior vice president, Administration.

Mr Hobbs has been with the company since 1973, and became CFO in 2000. Mr Rolfs, who joined Sensient in 1997, assumed several roles prior to his current position in Administration.  He was Sensient’s Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, and served as Treasurer and its Vice President, Corporate Development.

“Dick has been instrumental to the success of Sensient. The company would not be where it is today without Dick’s financial and strategic leadership. We cannot thank him enough for all he has done,” said Paul Manning, Sensient president and CEO. Of Mr Rolfs, he says, “Steve brings leadership skills, financial experience, and a deep knowledge of our business to the role,” said Paul Manning. “His expertise will be critical in helping the Company deliver value-enhancing growth over the coming years.”
