SEPPIC launches nutrition division

PARIS -- Speciality   ingredients,   film-coating   and formulation firm, SEPPIC, has created a nutrition division fully dedicated to players in the nutraceutical and functional food industries. Positioned  at  the  crossroads  between  health,  prevention,  and  well-being,  this  new division  benefits  from  the  synergies  of  expertise  acquired  in  pharmaceutical  and cosmetic formulation, film-coating, biology and global regulations.

SEPPIC’s nutrition division aims to expand its product portfolio to enable its customers to create new products, to anticipate market trends and to meet consumers' increasingly demanding needs in health and wellness.

To support customers in the formulation of their new products, a new sales team and R&D resources are now fully dedicated to nutrition. Its  biological applications  laboratory  has  thus  been  strengthened  and  will  direct  its  work  toward nutrition and the objectification of active ingredients. Five areas are targeted:
