Vice General Manager, Jackie C.C. Lin, shares with International Plastics News - Middle East (IRNE) the company's rigid procedures to ensure that machines meet global standards. IRNE: What are the current focus of Chuan Lih Fa's machines? Lin: We focus on energy saving in the small to medium range of machines, and so we developed all-electric machines best suited for precision moulding in the electronic field, and thin wall moulding for food packaging industry. For our large machines, we follow the trend of weight and space reduction and this is reflected in our two-platen TP series that is ideal for the automotive industry, for pallets in logistic industry, and for the production of large household appliances. IRNE: What benefits would customers' derive from using CLF's injection moulding line? Lin: Our target is innovative technology and quality assurance. Strong, durable, fast and stable production characterised the CLF machines that customers will be much competitive as they achieve high production rate, low defect rate, and reduced production costs. IRNE: What are the roles of CLF's production facilities in the overall quality of your products? Lin: Our production facilities are in charge of developing new models and in assisting customers in their requirements to improve production efficiency. CLF adheres to quality standards and implements ISO quality management. We strive for excellence in the overall quality of our machines and customer services to minimise failure rate. Based on the most experienced technology background, combined with our outstanding R & D team, we can quickly develop new models that fully comply with our company philosophy of "Technology Leadership". IRNE: Are you planning to launch new machines in the near future? Lin: We aim to develop a full series of all-electric machines and also our TP series in the near future. IRNE: Any other special plans in the future as far as capacity expansion is concerned? Lin: We will continue our expansion domestically and overseas to increase service locations and to fulfil the diverse needs of large customers from around the world. We will continuously research and develop more new injection moulding machines with multiple functions for our clients. It is always our keen desire to make rapid progress together with all our customers. We want to introduce more precision manufacturing equipment and provide non-stop training to our staff to maintain the highest quality and market competitiveness of our products. (the end)
