SIAL Middle East expands coverage

More reasons not to miss SIAL this November 26-28, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Some1,000 companies are expected to exhibit, on top of 21 national pavilions. The event added three new sectors: seafood, bakery equipment and foodservice equipment.

Seafood
Per capita consumption of seafood has always been high in the UAE - 2012 saw the UAE import 132,000 tons of seafood, valued at US$298 million. Bakery equipment
The bakery segment in the Middle East has continued to flourish and in Saudi Arabia alone, bakery products now account for more than US$4.3 billion, representing a major share of its F&B market. Foodservice equipment
Home to over 2 billion consumers, the Middle East boasts a foodservice market worth $35 billion.
