SIAL Middle East in November

FOODSERVICE gets its own showcase this November in the Middle East, where this market is worth an estimated $31 billion. SIAL Middle East (www.sialme.com/), the first local offshoot of the world's largest food industry event, will host 300 food industry exhibitors from 30 countries at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 22 to 24 November. According to show manager Fadi Saad, the response to the launch of the event has been overwhelming. "This is a testament to the manufacturers' hunger for new markets and the industry's need for more professional business platforms in the region," he said. "Buyers from the region will be able to source from more than 1,000 brands shown by 300 exhibitors from 30 countries. The show will also feature national pavilions from Argentina, China, France, Hong Kong, Iran, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States."
