MORE consumers now prefer products with familiar ingredients, or in most cases even less ingredients. This growing trend especially among Millennials is an opportunity for food and beverage manufacturers to clear their products of artificial ingredients and to add healthier and more natural ones such as those derived from plants.
At Vitafoods Europe, Cosucra will be presenting its core ingredients, Fibruline® chicory root fiber and Pisane® pea protein isolate. With two turnkey concepts, the company will demonstrate how these ingredients can add value to end-products: These concepts include:
- A sugar-reduced hard candy which is high in fiber, to benefit digestive health, and which enables to decrease blood sugar response, and
- A breakfast gingerbread, which is source of protein and high in fiber for a wholesome satiating breakfast.
