Singapore is new hub for leading materials solution company

Singapore has been chosen as the site for DuPont's new innovation and business headquarters. Spanning 11,000 sqm., the facility is scheduled to open in 2016 and will house about 200 scientists, engineers and business executives.

DuPont Singapore ASEAN headquarters will focus on delivering new innovations to meet the needs of the ASEAN marketplace. The facility draws on DuPont’s strength in the in Agriculture & Nutrition, Advanced Materials and Bio-based Industrials.

In Singapore, DuPont will be able to tap e inter-disciplinary research capabilities in the publicly funded research institutes and universities to develop new products and solutions to meet the needs of an increasingly sophisticated ASEAN.  

ASEAN is an important and fast-growing region for DuPont. With over 620 million people and rising middle class, the region is home to a rapidly expanding knowledge base.  To date, the company is present in eight ASEAN countries and has operated in Singapore since 1973. The new DuPont facility in Singapore is expected to expand to over 300 employees by 2020 and will form part of DuPont’s global network of thirteen innovation centers and 150 research and development centers worldwide.
