Sino Legend shows off state-of-the-art plant

 Sino Legend (Zhangjiagang) Chemical Co., Ltd. the largest Asian manufacturer of resins for the tyre and rubber industries, has presented its state-of-the-art production facility as it looks to establish a greater presence in North American and European markets. The Zhangjiagang City plant is located about 80 miles from Shanghai and was built in accordance with Western standards. “When we began designing the plant, the intent was to construct it equal to or above Western standards as a strategic advantage for global growth,” said Mr Corey Xie, deputy manager, Sino Legend. “This took the form of sophisticated automation systems, quality assurance protocols and monitoring, and strict environmental controls. The result is the most advanced facility of its type in the world.” With its focus on worldclass manufacturing combined with superior customer service, Sino Legend has become a supplier to eight of the top ten multinational tyre companies operating in Asia, as well as to the majority of China’s domestic manufacturers.
