ADVANCES in industrial automation equipment have brought an unprecedented potential to the packaging industry worldwide. Industrial robotics is applied extensively in the packing industry in China, with a rapid growth of 9.5% to 17.4% in the past five years.

 

ADVANCES in industrial automation equipment have brought an unprecedented potential to the packaging industry worldwide. Industrial robotics is applied extensively in the packing industry in China, with a rapid growth of 9.5% to 17.4% in the past five years.

The latest innovation will be presented at the 21st China international Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials (Sino-Pack 2014), in conjunction with China (Guangzhou) International Packaging Products Gala (PACK INNO 2014) at the China Import & Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou on 3-5 March 2014.

Organised by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd and the China Foreign Trade Centre (Group), the show boasts a wider exhibition area of 40,000 square metres, and expects over 500 leading Chinese and international exhibitors. As the largest packaging machinery and packaging product exhibition in China, Sino-Pack 2014 will welcome over 35,000 trade visitors from various industries, including food & beverage, daily chemical, pharmaceutical, and brewery.

Automation for greater efficiency

With the rapid development of automation technology in packaging, the emphasis is on diversity and multi-functionality in order to produce diverse products and to enhance efficiency. Serving as the most influential trading platform, Sino-Pack 2014’s Automation Hall will gather top-ranked industrial robotics manufacturers – ABB, KUKA Robotics, FANUC, St?ubli, GSK, and Delta amongst others. It will be an ideal trade platform for manufacturers to source both packaging and automation equipment.

ABB Engineering (Shanghai) Ltd (Booth no. 1340)

ABB provides industrial robots, modular manufacturing systems and service, including palletizing solutions, to help manufacturers improve productivity, quality and worker safety.

Shanghai-FANUC Robotics Co., Ltd. (Booth no. 1219)

FANUC Robotics will introduce its i series which includes highly reliable intelligent robots that incorporate advanced controller R-30iB with intelligence and networking capability.

 

KUKA Robotics China Co., Ltd. (Booth no. 1128)

KUKA Robotics China Co., Ltd will showcase its 5 and 6 axis robots range for 3kg to 1300kg payloads. The range may be applied in automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, logistics, food, pharmaceutical, medical, foundry and the plastics industries.

St?ubli (Hangzhou) Mechatronic Co., Ltd. (Booth no. 1235)

The St?ubli Group will present the SCARA and 6-axis robots, as well as controllers and software, featuring high productivity, speed and precision.

Decision makers and top trade buyers from various industries – food & beverage, daily chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronics are expected to visit the exhibition. Over a hundred local and international delegations will come from India, Turkey, Southeast Asia and other parts of the globe.
