For the second day, a seminar on the application of food and drug traceability technology on packaging will kick off the activities. Titled “Traceability of Food and Pharmaceutical Packaging,” the seminar starts at 9:30am in conference room no. 1, Area B.

The seminar hopes to reinforce the concept of consumer's safety in the packaging industry. Discussions will revolve around the need for traceability effectiveness and efficiency on food and drug packaging, which has become a key concern in both the public and private sectors in relation to consumer safety and corresponding regulations. Consumer tracking of information on product packaging will be made possible if end-use companies enter information into a shared and public platform.
