Skin Garden new favorite film site for TV drama series

SKIN Garden is currently the hottest filming site for TV drama series in Tokyo. The K-cosmetics shop in the central area of the Korean wave shopping district in Shinjuku has been used as site for filming several TV program since its launch. 

 

WOWOW TV, the biggest and first pay TV station in Japan, filmed a drama series at the shop last January 23. The shop and its sophisticated store display frequently visited by customers naturally dissolve in the drama series and fit the film location perfectly, according to a WOWOW TV filming staff member.

 

A manager at Skin Garden said a new drama series for launch this spring is scheduled for filming in the shop. The continuous filming of movies and TV drama series at the shop will significantly attract more customers, the manager added.

 

Skin Garden is one of the largest Korean wave cosmetics shops in Shinjuku. It carries a wide range of quality Korean products, including cosmetics popular among Asian women, accessories, fashion clothing, and Korean wave commodities. It is usually crowded with family-oriented customers.

 

The first Skin Garden is the most popular Korean wave shop in K-Plaza, which is home to many Korean wave products shopping malls and Korean traditional restaurants. The second store opened in June 2012 at Design 89, a Korean wave amusement building, and has been gaining a strong following as well.
