The Falcon hybrid portion cutter, one of the latest in Treiff's line, can handle meat products with and without bones (such as chops and steaks), slicing these to an exact weight or to a set thickness. Its efficiency is enhanced with a 4D camera system for measuring the products as well as top-speed computer technology which is the basis for yield-optimised slicing. Several software programmes meet specific requirements and make it possible to meet high throughput.
 
The Falcon hybrid
The Falcon hybrid can be combined with a tray feeder for automatic grouping and tray feeding. The Dynamic portion separation device, with quick upward movement after slicing, ensures the clean and precise depositing of the slices on the grouping belt. After automatic grouping, the package is transported directly into the tray. With up to 100 picks per minute, the robots ensure reliable sorting of the slices, e.g. into packages, and a smooth flow of the production process. The process reduces the need for manual work, thereby lowering the chances of microbiological contamination.
 
Divider 880
The industrial high speed slicer, DIVIDER 880, also combines with an automatic tray feeder. Treiff refers to it as an 'eco slicer'. Unlike other slicing systems, those from Treiff do not require idle cuts for gaining time to transport slices. Therefore fewer blade rotations are needed to achieve the same output. This protects the product during slicing and allows slicing at higher product temperatures as well.
