AUTOMATED and intelligent packaging solutions will be the focal point of the 23rd China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials.
Sino-Pack 2016 will showcase current and upcoming trends in packaging machinery and materials for key industries such as food, beverage and dairy products, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, cosmetics and daily chemicals, brewery, wine and spirits, and electronics and electrical appliances.
As a leading packaging trade event and a major sourcing and communication platform for the global marketplace, Sino-Pack will likewise present trends and demands in the dynamic packaging industry not just in China but also in Southeast Asia.
The trade fair, which will run from 2 to 4 March 2016, will be relocating to Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China to accommodate more exhibitors and buyers. The larger exhibition area of more than 46,000 square meters will host over 600 exhibitors from more than 20 countries and regions. The visitor turnout is expected to surpass 40,000.

Four major product pavilions
The show pavilions will be categorized into themes for easier navigation. Further, this will enable buyers to easily locate the products they are sourcing and meet potential manufacturing partners for their requirements.
Sino-Pack 2016 will be divided into four core pavilions, namely Automated & Intelligent Packaging Solutions, Liquid Packaging, Plastics Packaging, and General Packaging. Each pavilion will host key and renowned manufacturers from their respective industries, providing buyers a valuable opportunity to compare products and rates.
Several major manufacturers have confirmed participation at next year’s event. These include leading packaging robot developers ABB, Fanuc, and KUKA, and food packaging machinery experts Mettler-Toledo and Techlong. Liquid packaging machine manufacturers Vanta, Yuedeong, and Huito, and plastics packaging machine specialists Acmeplas, Arburg, and Winstar will likewise showcase their latest innovations at the show.
In addition to booth exhibits and live product demonstrations, buyers can attend seminars and conferences led by industry experts and government representatives.
One-stop sourcing platform with PACKINNO 2016
To offer buyers a one-stop sourcing experience, the show will run concurrently with China (Guangzhou) International Exhibition on Packaging Products 2016.
PACKINNO 2016 is China’s largest trading platform for green and innovative packaging products and materials. This trade exhibition covers the paper, metal, plastics, and textile and segments. Participating exhibitors likewise exhibits catering to specific purposes such as functional packaging, luxury and high-end packaging, and design services.
Visitors to both Sino-Pack 2016 and PACKINNO 2016 will be able to sample and source products covering the entire packaging industry for a time-saving and cost-efficient sourcing experience.
Expanding show
The outlook for next year’s trade exhibition is generally positive on the back of the successful 2015 edition.
Sino-Pack 2015 secured its position as China’s premier packaging exhibition with more than 600 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, including the US, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan Province, HKSAR, and areas of China.
The visitor turnout exceeded 30,000. With buyers and visitors originating from more than 130 different countries and regions, the show’s global and regional significance in the worldwide packaging industry was strengthened even more.
A number of industry end-users were able to make large amounts of purchases at the two exhibitions. These include Meiji, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Watsons, Apollo, BaiYunShan Pharmaceuticals, Amway, Blue Moon, Carlsberg, TsingTao, Epson, Gree, and Midea.
Fast-growing packaging industry
The growing technology sophistication in the different areas of production, packaging, and other aspects of the manufacturing sphere is cementing the position of the packaging machinery industry as a key industry not just in China but in the rest of the world. The industry is increasingly regarded as one of the fastest-growing in China.
Sino-Pack 2016 and PACKINNO 2016, organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, hope to reflect the growing sophistication and capability of China’s packaging machinery, products, and materials industries.
