Solenis opens new World Headquarters

Solenis LLC celebrated the grand opening of its new World Headquarters on April 27, 2015. Located at 3 Beaver Valley Road in Wilmington, Delaware, the headquarters will currently accommodate 120 employees and support a variety of corporate functions for the specialty chemicals company, which was previously known as Ashland Water Technologies. Space for additional expansion has been allocated.

 

Following the opening of its European headquarters last fall in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, the opening of the world headquarters is one more step in a series of actions that Solenis has taken since it was acquired by a fund managed by private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) on August 1, 2014. 

 

In addition to the office openings, Solenis recently acquired Clearwater Specialty Chemicals in North America as well as a paper chemical business from CBC in India.

 

According to John Panichella, president and CEO of Solenis, the new headquarters will further enhance the Solenis corporate identity and culture which the company has been working hard to develop around the world. Solenis has been conducting market-focused research and development to lead the industry in analyzing and solving water and process challenges and support its ustomers with innovative products and services.  

 

 

Solenis’ Wilmington Research Center will remain at its current location at 500 Hercules Road in Wilmington, Delaware.
