Spire Corp. to install turnkey module production line in Vietnam

Spire Corporation, a global solar company providing capital equipment and turnkey manufacturing lines for the production of photovoltaic (PV) modules has been given a contract to deliver and install a 20-megawatt (MW) turnkey module production line outside Hanoi in  Vietnam.  

 

 

The contract will allow for both research activities as well as production of multi or mono crystalline silicon modules. The procurement and installation was coordinated with AIC, a large global trading company, which is also responsible for the infrastructure of the facility. It is expected that the production lne will be fully functional by late spring. The modules produced from this facility will also be used to set up a demonstration system on-site.
