Starbucks community store in Bangkok

STARBUCKS Coffee Company’s first community store outside of the US opened in the Langsuan neighbourhood of Bangkok. Ten per cent of sales from the store’s hand-crafted beverages will be directed to the farming communities of Northern Thailand.

Chairman, president, and CEO Howard Schultz inaugurated the community store – the fourth which  operates with a profit sharing commitment to serve the local community, with the belief that when communities come together, there can be positive change.
