STEELFAB 2014: Regional show for the metal working in the Middle East

SteelFab is one event that has successfully crossed the regional borders to increase its geographical bandwidth and is now the most anticipated trade fair of the year for the global steel fabrication industry.

SteelFab is one event that has successfully crossed the regional borders to increase its geographical bandwidth and is now the most anticipated trade fair of the year for the global steel fabrication industry.

What started off as a dedicated platform for the metal working, metal manufacturing and steel fabrication industry for the Middle East has grown phenomenally to attract visitors and buyers even from the Indian Subcontinent, North Africa and Central Asia.

SteelFab is your proven platform to solicit orders from the entire Middle East & beyond. SteelFab 2013 had 242 direct exhibitors from which 133 were international exhibitors representing more than 600 brands from 26 countries.

SteelFab has achieved new benchmarks with every edition of the show during its ninth year run (October 2004, January 2006, January 2007, January 2008, January 2009, January 2010, January 2011, January 2012 and January 2013).

The number of exhibitors has constantly risen from 48 in the first edition to 242 direct participants in 2013 representing over 600 brands from all over the world.

Even with the global recession, SteelFab 2010 retained 190 direct exhibitors who showcased over 500 brands at the show and SteelFab 2011 increased to 206 direct exhibitors from 20 countries, SteelFab 2012 increased to 216 direct exhibitors from 26 countries. SteelFab 2013 has recorded yet an increase in visitors to 242 direct exhibitors from 26 countries showcasing over 600 brands.

Actual floor space has increased from 1,200 sqm (gross in 2004) to 18,000 (gross) in 2009 and 15,000 (gross) in 2012 and 16,000 (gross in 2013).The direct exhibitor numbers from Italy, Germany, and other European countries have also increased.

UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE - The Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machine Tools, Robots, Automation Systems and Ancillary Products has been a supporter of SteelFab since the third edition and will continue its support for the next edition.

GERMAN PAVILION - The German region of Bavaria has participated with a joint companies’ stand and a pavilion for four continuous editions of SteelFab till the 2009 edition. This was then enlarged to the official German Pavilion at SteelFab 2011, SteelFab 2012 and SteelFab 2013.

TAMI - The Taiwan Association of machinery industry attended SteelFab 2011 with an information booth and a pavilion of 9 companies from Taiwan. This support increased to 15 companies in SteelFab 2013 and now for the next edition they have already doubled their space booking for SteelFab 2014.

Several other export promotion boards and country machinery associations have shown an interest in SteelFab and could be expected to join in the coming edition.NIKE
