Steffan Huber is President of Bayer MaterialScience China

Bayer MaterialScience announced the appointment of Steffan Huber as the President of Bayer MaterialScience Greater China, effective 1 April, 2015, in a move to speed up shaping the future of the public-to-be company. Mr. Huber has been working in Bayer for more than 25 years and was until recently the Global Head, Senior Vice President of Business Planning, Strategy and Administration of Polycarbonates Business, one of the three business units of Bayer MaterialScience. For years, all of the Group's Business Units, Polyurethanes, Polycarbonates as well as Coating, Adhesive and Specialties, have witnessed great and inspiring advancements, according to Huber, and expects healthy growth to follow in the near future. ” “As we are going to build a new organization after separating from the Bayer Group soon, we have to make it as efficient as possible. This is going to be a great challenge for myself, for everyone in the company. Prior to his role as Global Head of Business Planning, Strategy and Administration of Polycarbonates Business, Huber was CEO and President of Bayer Taiwan for over five years, where he brought an ongoing drive for innovation and led the sustainable growth of the market. Before moving to Taiwan, he held positions of increasing responsibility within the company based out of a number of countries such as Leverkusen, Germany and Hong Kong.
