THE two companies have had a friendly relationship in recent years. Stork operated a Sepro S5-25 robot on one of its machines at NPE 2015, which took place in March in Orlando, Florida, and at PLASTPOL, which was held in Kielce, Poland, in May.
“We are very happy to complete this agreement with Stork, a company that is well-known for the reliability of their product in the demanding sector of packaging” says Jean-Michel Renaudeau, CEO of Sepro Group. “Collaboration with injection-molding-machine manufacturers is a key component in our growth strategy and an important element in the ‘free choice’ we offer to our customers.” In 2014, sales through IMM manufacturers accounted for 12% Sepro’s global turnover, Renaudeau noted.
Robert (Rob) G. Spekreijse, CEO of Stork IMM states: “The Stork organization is growing onto new markets and products. The expansion of our product portfolio with the Sepro solutions allows us to offer to our customers the systems they ask for. Especially regarding our crate-line for example; usually we are asked to supply a global package instead of a machine only.”
