ADDITIVE manufacturing solutions and 3D printing company Stratasys Ltd. names Jerome Hamilton as its new senior vice president for global operations.
Mr. Hamilton comes to Stratasys from global consumer brand 3M, where he served as vice president of Lean Six Sigma Operations, corporate quality and acquisition integration since 2012. He also played a significant role in devising strategy and operation plans for the company’s largest business unit, the 3M Industrial Business group, as well as leading the Masking and Surface Protection Business.
Prior to joining 3M, Hamilton held top operations positions at Ford Motor Co., including plant manager, where he reversed declining productivity at one facility and led it to be the top-ranked plant among 20 Ford sites.
Mr. Hamilton will be based in Minneapolis, reporting to Stratasys chief operating officer and chief financial officer Erez Simha. “We look forward to Jerome joining the Stratasys team,” said Mr. Simha. “And we look to him to support goals to improve manufacturing efficiency, optimize capacity and reduce cost of operations, all areas in which he has a proven track record.”
Hamilton earned a Bachelor of General Science degree from Morehouse College, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Detroit Mercy. He also earned a Master of Science in International Logistics from Georgia Tech, with rotations in Europe and Asia Pacific/Japan, and completed the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
Stratasys also maintains headquarters in Minnesota and Rehovot, Israel.
