As part of Manufacturing Expo, InterPlas Thailand is a spectacular event that sends trade visitors to Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) each year. The 20th edition of this successful show is not an exception. Manufacturing Expo remains ASEAN's biggest event for the manufacturing and related industries. It combines six major sectors of manufacturing industries, including: Plastics & Rubber, Mold & Die, Automotive Parts, Automation & Assembly Technologies, and Industrial Components & Subcontracting Energy & Environmental Management for the Manufacturing Industry.
Despite noted slowdown in some markets, the Manufacturing Expo 2011 predicted attendance to increase by 30% over previous years and generate business worth millions of dollars. This was a dynamic and energetic trade show that featured the latest technologies from 370 leading exhibitors who represented more than 30 countries from all around the globe. About 44,770 trade visitors travelled to the show to experience live demonstrations of products, and have the opportunity to attend a vast array of industrial conferences on industry trends and technology developments.
InterPlas Thailand 2011 was the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the latest technologies, developments, products and trends, as well as networking with industry leaders and suppliers. This year, the event had a strong focus on sustainable growth and this was an issue of concern echoed by many of the participants that attended the trade show. Technologies, mainly those meeting the call for cost-savings and environment protection, were well viewed and gathered much interest. The edition's other highlights include the Bio-plastics Zone, Packaging Zone, OEM Zone, Plastics & Rubber Forum, and Composites Showcase

Kraiburg TPE is a global leader and manufacturer of soft, thermoplastic elastomer compounds for the automotive, industrial, consumer and medical markets. Headquartered in Waldkraiburg, Germany and with production sites in the United States and Malaysia. "We offer customised solutions for soft, elastic TPEs, which are custom engineered to the needs of our clients. For this show, we have several new innovations that include our new fragrance compounds which are concentrated and give the TPE granule a particular smell. These can be used in packaging, cosmetic products and household goods. For example, here they are used in toothbrush handles, and for shavers. The fragrances can also be customised," according to Mr. Tan We Kar, Marketing & Key Account Manager. In addition, the company also introduced the 'Mix & Bake ' bowl set and the 'Collapsible Salad Spinner' as part of the 'smart kitchen' product series. This is a new innovation as the salad spinner is the only one of its kind with this folding design. Another product promoted is the nylon handle grip like on the power tools. Offered at a more competitive price, the product is stronger and more scratchresistant.
Customer service is very important and Kraiburg TPE works hard to ensure that no matter where the client is in the world, the services and products are standardised. Mr. Tan sees large potential for the Asian markets in particular that the company is looking to expand its operations at its Malaysian plant. There are alsoAir Jordan XIII High
