INEOS Styrolution presents moulding solutions and customer applications made with the company’s sustainable ECO products at the FAKUMA show in Friedrichshafen, Germany (October 17-21, 2023).

INEOS Styrolution’s ECO products offer performance with a low environmental footprint. They are either the result of (mechanical or advanced) recycling or they are products based on bio-attributed feedstock. Their properties are at par with that of traditional materials.

At the FAKUMA show, INEOS Styrolution’s materials can be experienced at the following locations:

ALBIS showcases customer solutions based on INEOS Styrolution’s ECO materials. Exhibits include solutions from various industries such as a B-pillar (automotive) or toolbox (household). Materials include Novodur® ECO HH-106 MR30, Terluran ECO GP-22 MR50 and Luran ECO 368R B70.

Also on display are samples of INEOS Styrolution’s new Luran® S SPF-60 solution. The ASA Luran® S SPF-60 offers high gloss and best-in-class UV performance making it a perfect solution for many outdoor applications requiring an aesthetic appearance.

ALBIS can be found at booth B4-4206.

Arburg demonstrates the performance of their latest generation of injection moulding machines with INEOS Styrolution’s bio-attributed ABS[1] Terluran® ECO GP-35, typically being available in a “BC60” version, i.e. with 60% bio-attributed content. The same material will be processed by an injection moulding machine at the Maschinenfabrik Lauffer booth next to Arburg.

Arburg can be found at booth A3-3101.

Maschinenfabrik Lauffer can be found at booth A3-3008.

Barnes Molding Solutions, a strategic business unit within Barnes and a pioneer of new technologies in injection moulding, exhibits moulding solutions with INEOS Styrolution’s ABS Novodur® HD M203FC and Terlux® HD 2812, an MABS[2] thermoplastic.

Barnes Molding Solutions can be found at booth A1-1208.

Fill Gesellschaft m.b.H.presents Novobead® ECO, a particle foam based on ABS at their booth. In fact, Fill was one of INEOS Styrolution’s experienced partners along the entire value chain contributing to the development of this new material.

Fill can be found at booth A5-5010.

Sumitomo (SHI) Demag is a long-term partner for INEOS Styrolution. The company will demonstrate the performance of their injection moulding solutions with Styrolution® PS 495N. This particular grade excels with a very high flow, making it the material of choice for a broad range of applications in construction, household and toys, sports & leisure applications.
