Sustainable packaging innovations at Middle East conference

The Dow Chemical Company’s (Dow) Packaging and Specialty Packaging business is participating as sponsor at the Flexible Packaging Middle East 2015 international conference taking place on 7-9 December in Dubai.

 

Dow’s keynote speaker will present the company"s latest innovations to meet changing demand for more sustainable packaging, as well as the opportunities for customers in the region resulting from additional PE capacity in Saudi Arabia through Dow’s joint venture, Sadara. 

 

Flexible packaging is a dynamic sector and constantly growing. In the Middle East, changing consumer preferences, food safety standards and increased awareness on sustainable packaging are driving the need for more sophisticated packaging tailored to local market requirements and offering enhanced convenience, functionality and sustainable design.

Some of the latest innovations that Dow will present at the Flexible Packaging Middle East 2015 conference include its award-winning PacXpert™ Packaging Technology enabling the transition from traditional rigid containers to flexible packaging.
