NEW savory ethnic flavors for Indian, Mediterranean and Asian foods were among the products introduced by Sensient Flavors at Gulfood Manufacturing.

The company’s Taste Sensations range adds depth of flavor with lower amount of sodium and fat. This portfolio maintains taste and mouthfeel even with less salt and fat and brings out the umami goodness in foods, according to the company.

For beverages, low sugar and sugar-free alternatives were on offer. Sensient’s APSS (All-Purpose Sweet Solutions) portfolio enables manufacturers to reduce sugar without changing the taste in still and carbonated soft drinks, flavored milk, tea and coffee.

For sweets, the company offers hard boiled candies and filled biscuits with flavors that meet local preferences.
