CHINA'S most influential sweets & snacks manufacturers will come armed with some of the highest quality and most raved-about products to Sweets & Snacks China, which since its co-operation with the China Confectionery Culture Festival in 2008, has gradually transformed from focusing solely on B2B trading to a unique platform embracing cultural influences into the exhibition. GuanShengYuan Group will be bringing with them their high-quality honey products, and White Rabbit milk candy, long a household name in China and holder of three patents for invention - the most in the entire China sweets industry. Further, its honey is the domestic top-seller and has won a major brand award for the 18th consecutive year. GuanShengYuan is also the Official Sweets Supplier for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Another heavyweight at Sweets & Snacks China 2010 is Beijing's Sister Ma brand of crisp candies which has been selling well across China and even exported to more than 20 countries and regions like the US, Australia, Japan and Europe. Still another is Yake from Fujian province. The largest sweets and snacks manufacturer in China will feature, amongst others, their star product, Yake V9 - a candy infused with nine vital vitamins; their vitamin C-rich, sugar-free xylitol chewing gum which keeps dental problems at bay while it refreshes the breath at the same time; and also their Swiss-type herbal drops that soothe throat discomforts. Besides local products, the presence of sweet, chocolate and snack products from importers is on the increasing trend. Ted, an importer specialising in the European sweet market has Guylian (Belgium), Hellema (the Netherlands), Bahlsen (Germany) and Roland (Switzerland) under its Maxmile umbrella brand. Also, exquisite candies and chocolate chip cookies from the UK brought in by distributing agent, Yuanyi; and the Meiji Meltykiss Chocolates, Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread and Copenhagen Butter Cookies from agent Sunny Life, are expected to inject a fresh breath and gain popularity among local end-consumers. Sweets & Snacks China 2010, along with Sweet and SnackTec will be held at the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre, will be open exclusively to trade visitors from 28 to 30 October whilst the China Confectionery Cultural Festival will be opened to the public on 30th October.(the end)Black Friday 19
