Swisslog acquires Power Automation Systems

SWISSLOG Warehouse and Distribution Solutions, provider of best-in-class intralogistics solutions, and Power Automation Systems (PAS), the global market leader in pallet shuttle automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) have worked together in the past for companies like Coca-Cola and winemaker, The Sutter Home (Trinchero Family Estates) in California.

Swisslog’s acquisition of PAS will help grow its markets in North America, South America, Asia, and Australia toward end of production line ASRS applications for fast moving goods.

Michael Felbinger who has 20 years of experience in material handling both in Europe and the US, has been named general manager of the PAS business line. PAS’s headquarters in Lathrop, California will be the Swisslog WDS Americas West Coast location.
