TAEGUTEC is expanding its RhinoRush line of inserts and holders with two new offerings, a screw clamping type boring bar and a new ground type ML chip breaker.
The new range of screw clamping type boring bar, which broadens the range of the highly successful RhinoRush family of holders, features a screw clamping functions. It is suitable for C, T, V and W shape inserts.

Designed with a simple clamping structure, the boring bar reduces chip evacuation interference during internal machining. It is stable and durable during demanding operations. Together with the current hook lever, T-Holder and wedge clamp types, the product matches the requirements of more demanding machining applications.
Meanwhile, the ground type ML chip breaker has a very sharp cutting edge to generate less cutting force. The double-sided negative ground insert is designed to help extend the RhinoRush tool life. The minimal built-up-edge during machining improves surface quality as well. With its sharp geometry and polished uncoated grade, the chip breaker makes the series the ideal solution for aluminum and super alloy machining.
The mini tuning inserts help lower machining costs while boosting output and competitiveness, factors that have gained the line of products a huge following across many sectors within the manufacturing arena. These also result in less impact on the environment.
RhinoRush’s smaller yet tough double-sided inserts deliver better machining time and surface finish. They boast a unique two-directional clamping force that exceeds ISO directional clamping force tools available today.
