TaeguTec T-Taps tapped into two kits

The idea behind creating these tools kits is o give industrial users the chance to test and evaluate the T-Tap line or for customers that operate under flexible production schedules.

The pre-thread hole making and tapping kits include metric ISO taps and pre-thread drills.

The kits provide thread tapping from M4-M14 range. Solid carbide pre-hole drills are available in the kits ranging from M4-M8, whereas M10-M14 range of kits consists of the indexable DrillRush tools.

A further advantage of the new kits is the inclusion of a chamfer for through hole machining applications for both the solid carbide and indexable drills.

The high cutting speed with low cutting force taps’ universal application is ideal for steel, stainless steel and cast iron applications.

The optimized cutting geometries of the taps line ensures easy chip evacuation for precise and reliable machining and its different grades of uncoated, tempered and titanium nitride coating enables higher productivity and economy on a wide range of materials.

Its longer tool life is credited to its innovative cutting geometry and the option of either TiN coating or steam tempering.
