The facilities and services of TaipeiPlas 2012 venue, Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC), have been duly recognised and awarded internationally renowned certificates for their excellence, according to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA).
The TWTC received "Best Practice" certificates for all eight categories of the U.S.-based World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), according to TAITRA, Taiwan's main trade promotion body that runs the TWTC. This year, the TWTC r is the only association member to win certificates in all the categories, including trade information services, business services, club facilities, tenant services, conference services and trade technology innovations.
TAITRA Chairman Wang Chih-kang said he will attend the WTCA's annual meeting in Moscow Sept. 24 to receive the awards.
Established in 1969, the WTCA now has over 330 world trade centre members in 100 countries. As a nonprofit, non-political organization, it aims to promote prosperity through trade and investment.
