TaipeiPLAS: FCS demonstrates advantages of HB-R series

TAIWAN-Since 2012, FCS has successfully developed HB-R series,  or high tonnage two-platen two-component injection moulding machine (IMM) with clamping force of up to 1,900 tonnes. This is one of the few huge two-component IMMs in the world.

For TaipeiPLAS 2014, FCS specifically developed to demonstrate a smaller model HB-350R to let the buyers experience the advantages of this series at the FCS booth.

Although the clamping force of this machine is only 350 tonnes, it’s enough to cover the capacity of a 1,000 tonnes traditional two-component IMM. It also has excellent multiple features, such as the rotary table is horizontal type, there are no obvious gravity problem and mechanical limit. This eliminates the abrasion caused by the mass of vertical rotary table and unsmooth rotation, it allows the mass production of huge 2 components product.

The injection unit is horizontal type, equipping with horizontal rotary table. Compared to the vertical one, the mould could be larger and designed for longer slide on the condition of the same tie bar distance.
