TaipeiPLAS: Sun Lung gearbox meets high-performance criteria

TAIWAN-At TaipeiPLAS, Sun Lung's booth focuses on the company's desire to meet market trends for high-performance, large capacity and environment-friendly gearboxes. Sun Lung has been devoting substantial  resources to the development of high-performance gearboxes for twin-screw extruders.

At the show, this series of high performance gearbox is highlighted. Ideal for twin-screw extruders, the  Super Torque Gearbox for Co-rotating Twin Screw Extruder has the best transmission efficiency, low noise, high torque and strong structure design. It is designed by computer virtual simulation and stress analysis calculation of safety coefficient.

The gearbox is embedded with excellent high dissipation, forced lubrication, cooling and filter system to perform enhanced output capabilities under heavy loading forces. Equipped with top quality INA or SKF thrust bearings and NOK oil seals to ensure the excellent performance.

Sun Lung is also presenting its gearboxes for injection moulding machines, which have been specifically  developed for the drive of plasticising screws. The gearboxes with parallel axes due to their special configuration, are suitable to transmit elevated torque rates and to receive high input force, resulting in very low noise and vibration performance.

            In order to facilitate mounting of this series gearboxes, the standard version is supplied complete with flange and output shaft dimension corresponding to hydraulic motors commonly used. The gearboxes can be customised according to customer's specific request.
