(Taiwan) Chung Hung Steel to lift prices for March

It’s reported that Chung Hung Steel, one of the major re-rollers in Taiwan announced to lift its domestic prices for hot rolled coils (HRC) by NT$1,000~NT$1,200/ton and cold rolled coils (CRC) by NT$1,000/ton for domestic sales in March.

Meanwhile, the company also announced to increase US$30-US$40/ton for April deliveries for export customers and it expected the market demand and order will remain firm in March this year. After prices adjustment, HRC prices are about NT$19,500/ton and the CRC prices are at about NT$22,227/ton.
