Taiwan iron, steel export value up by 13.5%

Taiwan's iron and steel exports in June amounted to $1.56 billion, increasing by 13.5%, while its metal product exports totalled $877.9 million, up by 10.1%, both compared to June 2010, Taiwan Ministry of Finance reported. For the first half of the year, Taiwan's iron and steel exports reached $9.54 billion, increasing by 20.3%, while its metal product exports rose 18.1 percent to $5.47 billion, both compared to the previous year.
