[Taiwan News] Ministry of Economy Affairs ROC: Integration between Theories and Propensity

In order to keep up with the fast pace of globalization in the machine tool industry, the Taiwanese Ministry of Economy Affairs held many conferences and meetings with the Taiwanese industrial circle. The main issue pointed out repeatedly is how to assist Taiwan's industry to transform and upgrade for a better future to provide new energy for national economic growth.

These conferences discussed about the possibility of innovation on existing industries. The Government wants to integrate the resources from the private sector, public sector, and academies to enhance the Taiwanese industry. One official said that in fact in both theoretical and technological fields there are resources in academies and universities that have reached international level. These resources need to be integrated into industry field in order to fully realize their potential.

Manufacturers also know that they have to confront bottlenecks but they have no consensus on how to go about doing it. That is why in recent years the government of Taiwan works hard to gather all the industry leaders on this island to find solutions to the situation.
