Taiwan's biggest machine tool exhibition opens

To keep abreast of the trends in smart manufacturing, the theme of TMTS this year is "Manufacture Linking- Activate the Future," concentrating on demands for automated, customized, and smart machines. The event allows visitors to experience the boundless drive of Taiwan's machine tool industry for developing smart manufacturing as well as the corresponding results.

TMTS is the biggest machine tool exhibition in Taiwan this year. As an important driving force for matching global machine tool industries and consumers, the show aims to fully present the diverse industrial supply chains and smart  applications. The event has gained full support from major manufacturers in Taiwan, e.g. Fair Friend Group, Tongtai, Hiwin, Goodway, AWEA, Victor Taichung, YCM, Far Eastern, Kao Ming, Falcon, Wele, CHMER, GSA, Keyarrow, Gifu and Harbor. Furthermore, international manufacturers from Europe, the U.S. and Japan have also come to Taiwan to join the event for the first time, including the world's leading numerical control and robot manufacturer Fanuc, the world's biggest machine tool manufacturing group DMG Mori, Japan's leading machine tool manufacturer Mazak, and Sweden's measuring machine manufacturer Hexagon. The show is expected to attract over 85,000 buyers, creating more than ten billion business opportunities while moving Taichung City's economy towards a future with industries worth trillion of dollars.
