A STEVIA sweetener that delivers key taste advantages at high sugar reduction levels was recently cited by the Ringier Technology Innovation Awards. Tate & Lyle’s natural, no-calorie stevia sweetener, TASTEVA, was awarded the Ringier Technology Innovation Award – Food & Beverage Industry in Shanghai. This is the second award given to TASTEVA, following it being named Best Dairy Ingredient at the 2013 Dairy Innovation Awards in Lucerne, Switzerland.
The versatile, clean tasting sweetener was cited for its ease of incorporation into new formulations. Product taste tests show that TASTEVA to be preferred by consumers, offering a superior taste profile over RebA 97 and other stevia products.

The Tate & Lyle stevia sweetener was launched in March earlier this year at the Food Ingredients China 2013. It joins the company’s extensive sweetener portfolio which includes SPLENDA? sucralose, PUREFRUIT? monk fruit extract and a wide range of nutritive sweeteners.
The 2013 Ringier Technology Innovation Awards for the Food and Beverage Industry ceremony was held at the 2013 Food Ingredients, Health Ingredients and Natural Ingredients Asia-China Show (Fi Asia-China Hi Ni China 2013) in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on June 26, 2013.
Tate & Lyle will be at Booth G1 in Fi Asia 2013 from September 11-13 in Bangkok.
