TATEF 2010:A plethora of the latest metalworking technology

The 13th International Metalworking Technologies Exhibition TATEF 2010 is going to bring together the leaders of manufacturing at Istanbul Exhibition Centre, CNR Expo. TATEF, known as Turkey's largest exhibition in its field and the 4th biggest industrial summit in the world, will be sharing with the visitors the power of the Turkish machine manufacturing industry with support from the sectoral societies on 12-17 October 2010. The event will be held with support from TIAD (Machine Tools Businessmen' Association) and MIB (Association of Machinery Manufacturers) and KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development Organisation). The latest technology machinery that decrease manufacturing costs, bring high efficiency in a short time and decrease inventory costs will be on the shop window at TATEF. The exhibition whereby Turkish machine manufacturers will display product variety and quality will attract attention as the region's most important event that meets expectations. The export value of metalworking machinery reached US$502.8 million in 2008. Exports of stone, wood, hard plasticrubber, cork, processing machine tools, and parts andaccessories of machine tools were US$ 171 million in 2009. The Turkish machine tools industry exported its products to more than 150 countries worldwide in 2009. The main export destinations are Germany, the Russian Federation, Brazil, Poland, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and the USA.
