TATEF 2012: The "Industrial Summit" is ready for action

Being the choice of both national and international representatives of Turkish Machinery and Metal Machining Sector for 20 years, TATEF now has about 350 exhibitors from 20 different countries. For the machinery sector targeting US$100 billion in 2023 Export Objective, TATEF will lead the industry by combining production and technology. The industrial summit has the vision of going beyond the success of having 65,000 professional visitors in 2010.

The exhibition is organised by E International Trade Fairs (EUF) with the support of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, KOSGEB, Machinery Manufacturers Union (M?B), Industrial Automation Association (ENOSAD), OAIB - Machinery and Components Exporters Union, Machinery Promotion Group, ?zmir Board of Trade and Turkey Hardware Artisans Federation.

TATEF introduces Mechatronics Eurasia
TATEF, a globally recognised brand, will feature a section dedicated to mechatronic systems this year. As nano-technology is set to change the world, mechatronics will become increasingly important in robotic engineering and manufacturing systems. The new technology allows traditional industries to increase efficiency by automating redundant processes, thereby improving quality and increasing productivity.

TATEF 2012 is the only fair in Turkey that takes part in the calendar of international machinery fairs of CECIMO, and it will be the industrial summit in which new business connections and cooperations’ will be made for six days. TATEF Fair now hosts local manufacturers exporting worldwide as well. Local manufacturers will also have the chance to introduce their machines to the foreign market, selected by ITE Group’s strong international office network.

In TATEF 2012 will feature machine tools, plate operation figure, extractors, tools, component-hardware-accessories, manufacturing and automation tools, measurement and checking tools, and software. Visitors are from industry and sub-industry manufacturers, defence industry manufacturers, automation industry manufacturers, whiteware manufacturers, shipbuilding manufacturers, metallurgy, electronics sector, technical service, automation, maintenance sectors and engineering groups.

Foreign buying delegation interest in TATEF!
Another activity to be held in the scope of TATEF business development platform is the foreign buying delegation programs. Coordinated by the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Economics and organised by the Middle Anatolian Exporters Union, the activities are to bring over 25 buyer delegations. The participants will come from Germany, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, Morocco, France, Georgia, Holland, England, Iran, Spain, Israel, Kosovo, Hungary, Macedonia, Malaysia, Egypt, Russia, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Jordan are expected.
