Tetra Pak acquires plastic molds specialist

LAUDE, a Dutch company that specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of plastic molds used in hard and semi-hard cheese production, will now be part of Tetra Pak Cheese and Powder Systems.

Tetra Pak’s acquisition of the plastic molds company strengthens its position as provider of complete solutions for cheese manufacturing. It will extend the availability of Laude products in the global market.

Laude with 38 employees has been in the cheese mold design and supply business since 1962. Under the new setup, managing director Auke Rienks and his existing management team will continue to run Laude at its headquarters in Ter Apel, The Netherlands.
