Tetra Pak, Vinamilk open world-class dairy plant

Together with Vinamilk, Tetra Pak has inaugurated the most advanced liquid dairy plant in automation and integration, in Viet Nam. 

The 20-hectare facility located in Binh Duong province, will have an annual capacity of 400 million litres of milk in the first phase. It is equipped with nine Tetra Pak? A3 / Speed iLines; eight Tetra Pak? A1 / iLines,; a complete iLine? XT solutions with 14 laser guided vehicles with iWMS, i.e., Intermediate Warehouse Management Software; plus a the state-of-the-art Tetra PlantMaster? system, which enables Vinamilk to have entire control of the plant from incoming raw materials to the processed, packaged and palletised products.

“The Vietnam Milk Factory is by far the most advanced plant in automation and integration that Tetra Pak has ever built,” said Bert Jan Post, managing director of Tetra Pak Viet Nam. “And thanks to the Tetra PlantMaster? system, all of the individual machines are working together ‘as one’ to deliver optimal performance, with factory-wide integration ensuring high levels of efficiency and uncompromising food safety.”
