TIMTOS 2013 engages machine tool buyers

ONE of Asia's biggest international machine tool exhibitions, Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) opened today with expanded event space and with more to offer to the region’s metal cutting and metal forming industries. The biennial event has attracted 1,009 exhibitors with a fifth from outside the country. Visitors can explore latest designs and modern accessories in one of the world’s fastest growing business sectors.

TIMTOS 2013 maintains its ranking as the second largest exhibition of its kind in Asia, with four levels of the latest solutions and innovations for visitors, especially buyers from the top 25 machine tool-exporting nations.

In the first floor of Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, there is a huge area for metal cutting suppliers as well as plates, laser, welding, vibration and surface processing. There are also many tooling aids and accessories, such as tubes, cord facilities, components, lathe and milling tools, and control systems. There is also an area for measuring devices and the related software supply.

Every possible latest development for a metal forming foundry can be found on the second floor: Welding, vibration trituation, surface-processing facility, tubes, cord processing, components, tools and measuring devices, and hydraulic components.

Industrial robots are attracting attention on the fourth floor, where exhibitors from Switzerland and Germany are demonstrating their cutting edge equipment in their national pavilions.
