TIMTOS 2013 is now open and will run until March 10, a total of six days. This year the show hosts 1,009 exhibitors using 5372 booths, with 20 percent of the exhibitors from outside the country.

TIMTOS 2013 officially opens today and will run until March 10, a total of six days. This first Taiwan Machinery Export Promotion Show kicked off 39 years ago in 1975.

This year the show hosts 1,009 exhibitors using 5372 booths, with 20 percent of the exhibitors from outside the country. The show has grown 26 times larger than the first event and is the largest machine tool show ever hosted in Taiwan. Meanwhile the scale of this year's show also placed TIMTOS among the top five places in machine tool shows.

To make this event a success and draw the most important of buyers, Taitra used its international offices to search and recruit the best of buyers, especially throughout the top 25 machine tool exporting nations.

TAMI also utilized the opportunities of about 20 shows per year and 50 shows every 2 years to join international professional machine tool shows to extensively promote TIMTOS to foreign buyers.
