TIMTOS 2013 to open doors in March

The 24th Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS 2013) will be held at Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC) in Taipei, Taiwan on March 5-10, 2013. Taiwan is currently the world’s 4th largest manufacturer of machine tool. Organised by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the exhibition is centred on the procurement of top-quality “Made in Taiwan” machine tool and total solution for machine industry.

Electromagnetic spring-applied safety brake

Chain Tail’s SMB brakes called "safety brakes" for stopping or holding the load when power is not supplied. The braking force is supplied by springs making it highly reliable. They are typically applied on holding robots, Z axis ball screws, servo motors, and general electric motors. SMB series is small in size but high torque, which has no inconvenient high pitched whine. It can be used even in the quiet environments.

Servo press, servo die cushion

CNC machine center spindles

The CNC machine center spindles direct drive KDS1312 from Kenturn has standard speed of 12000 RPM, and maximum speed up to 18000RPM (optional).  Tool system can be selected: BT40, ISO40, BBT40 CAT40 DIN40 interchange ability. The impact of the cylinder with one design and built-in floating knife fight flip device can improve bearing life.  The spindle and the top knives amount adjustment device can be programmed according to the different needs of customers, and do online adjustment directly at the machine table.
