[TIMTOS Exhibitor: Campro] A Moving Mover For Automation

Campro manufactures a full range of machine tools in the area of metal cutting, such as vertical and horizontal machining center, CNC lathe, CNC turning center, and CNC double column machining center. In TMTS 2012 Campro promoted their five-axis 350 to the visitors. The machine is developed for a more automatic working environment since they recognize that automation will only get more and more important in the global industry. This recognized trend drives Campro to develop suitable machines for automation and sell those machines to markets where labor cost is relatively high. For example, some of their customers are in Switzerland, where labor cost reduction is an important issue.

For TIMTOS 2013, Campro will promote their new five-axis 500, which is bigger than five-axis 350 and with wider application. On the other hand, in the field of horizontal machining center, Campro re-designs their existing products by lowering its hight and lightening its weight. However, its rigidity and stiffness are remained without a compromise so that when customers are working there will not be a rigidity issue. Meanwhile, with lighter weight, the transportation fee for buyers is also reduced. There are also lathe equipped with robotic arms and is able to feed automatically. Together with a simpler manuvering panel, workers can easily get familiar with both hard and softwares.
