TIMTOS successfully closed its doors in Taipei

The six-day Taiwan machine tool fair, Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS 2013), has successfully closed its doors at the Taipei World Trade Centre (TWTC) and the NANGANG Exhibition Hall on March 10 as the sector’s largest trade show in Taiwan’s history. This event created show history by once again forging fresh records. It hosted 1,009 exhibitors from home and abroad to use 5,372 booths. They attracted 6,583 visitor buyers from 94 countries, a 29.8% increase on
the last turnout. The number of domestic visitors also rose 12.4%, to 4, 0189.  TIMTOS (The Taipei International Machine Tool Show) is jointly organised by the TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and TAMI (the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry.

The quality of visitors in this year’s exhibition have  in-creased compared to TIMTOS 2011, at the same time we expect positive visitor inquiries. The company’s main customers are located in Taiwan. Most of them request for high precision and accuracy. In the past five years, Hurise started entering the foreign market. We aim to work hard on penetrating the overseas market since we believe that our products can satisfy foreign buyers.

The show this year seems busier and there seems to be a lot more international buyers and end-users. I think the show has grown. Everyone seems to be doing a lot of good business and getting a lot of good contacts and inquiries. I find it well-organised and well-attended by many participants.  TIMTOS is a good platform for networking and getting to know and meet people from the industry.

We produce and develop automatic steel plate cutting equipment. For this show, we are highlighting 5 axes CNC pipe bevel cutting machine and robot cutter. For the past days we received many buyer inquiries for our products.  And some have also confirmed that they will visit our plant. And therefore we are optimistic.And therefore, I am optimistic that this show will have produce a favourable outcome.
