TIMTOS: Xiamen Die & Mould president visits the show

Mr. Jinjie Lin is the President of Xiamen Die & Mould Industry Association. He is leading a team of buyers from Xiamen to TIMTOS 2013 to source for machines. They are looking for three to five axis high speed machining center, wire EDM, 3D laser marking machine and CMM at TIMTOS 2013. He says that many Xiamen manufacturers are using Taiwanese machines.

Beside sourcing, Mr. Lin says that they are also meeting the relevant associations in Taiwan and going for factory visits.  He wishes to learn more about management techniques and technological trends from Taiwan. He says that China has the cost advantage and a big domestic market.Together, China and Taiwan should leverage on each other’s strengths to establish a win-win relationship.

Mr. Lin says that there are a lot of similarities between Xiamen and Taiwan. He hopes that there will be more opportunities for increased interaction, networking, sharing, learning and of course buying.  Looking forward, he says that the die & mould industry will move toward higher precision and higher quality to match the needs of industry demand.  He says that there is a lot of potential in the die & mould industry.
